Loz Goddard steps into new sonic territory on his Physical Education debut, delivering four machine-driven cuts rooted in analogue hardware sounds, high-energy rhythms and dancefloor intent. Synthesizers and drum machines take the lead, with subtle nods to the sounds and moods of ’90s and early-2000s video games adding a playful digital sheen. Four forward-thinking jams from a seasoned producer.

For the second release on Diskclaimer* Records, Reformed Society shares four tracks produced in London and Barcelona between 2021 and 2025. The EP moves through big-room prog, tech-house-leaning cuts and laid-back dreamy grooves as one cohesive dancefloor journey. Limited to 300 copies.

Minimal fuss and maximum effect from Tallinn’s Squash, who roll up two joints of slick tech house for Healer Records’ maiden release, alongside sublime remixes by Christopher Ledger and Reflex Blue.

Creatures of the Night joins the vinyl community with Rubinskee & Soos, bringing summer heat from Mexico. A Running Hot remix adds another direct house cut to the package.

Sakro, Brandub, Rhythm Box and Nomad lock horns for the next transmission on Facing Realities. The four-track V/A blends hazy dreamscape textures, raw 909 workouts and relentless groove for dark club sessions.

For the third instalment of Gabu’s wax series, regional talent Bood delivers a four-tracker built from analogue and early 16-bit digital sounds with a sprinkle of wild imagination. Deeper house tones move across different dancefloors and different times of day.

Nug-Net returns to vinyl with another best-of selection from the previous year’s contest entries: anytime-anywhere cruisers from Guessbeats and Tanda, high-pitch Limousine Dream energy from The Big Paneer and indie-pop-house territory from Franz Fraiz.

After a brief hiatus, Nuances de Nuit returns with Lucho’s RioGroove: a tightly woven trio of deeper cuts for hazy dancefloors and after-hours alike, completed by a stripped-back, slow-burning reinterpretation from Rumps.

Physical Education welcomes Len Lewis back with a reissue of his hard-to-find early-2000s Joy / Skip Up release. Joy is deep tech house with warm strings and swinging toms, while two versions of Skip Up bridge modern deep house and the breaks-driven character of the era.

Plåy launches with T. Jacques’ Serve Chilled: two dancefloor-focused deep cuts. Keep On drifts through spacious percussion, warm pads and soft vocal textures. Serve Chilled closes on resonating pads and lush chords over tight, hardware-driven drums.

White Scar returns with four producers from South America and Eastern Europe for a peak-time club statement. Alejo, Mar.c, Muten and R.E.S.S move from driving tension and emotional weight to mythic club pressure and a melodic, hypnotic finale.

The second self-released Liquid Earth Physical record is a front flip into curbside clubbing. Two tight mixes of The Breakdown lead into the beefed-out breakbeat cut The Closer and the straight-ahead slamming Cobblestone Stomper. No filler, just four distinct dancefloor tools.

Parisian minimal maestro Olivier Romero and Reflex Blue team up for an EP of stripped-back house music. Inspired by each other’s sonic palette, the duo fuse their influences through a two-track journey of straight-to-the-point club sounds.

Roundhouse makes its first statement on wax. Way Of The Warrior finds Lukey exploring the space between Japanese fighting culture and the raw energy of South Central Los Angeles. Rolling tech house grooves, acid pressure, analogue textures and West Coast vocal references shape the EP, while a lone breakbeat electro excursion briefly shifts the pace before returning to the record’s driving core.

A snapshot of UK tech house in its formative years, OLC002 finds Rob Pearson laying down the blueprint for a sound he would continue to refine through Evasive Records. Released on Online Collective, the label arm of South London’s Online Studios, this EP captures a raw, forward-facing moment in underground dance music. Slipstream leads with tight tech drums, chopped breakbeats, weighty sub bass and warped melodic textures. Vortex channels early Detroit techno through a South London lens, while Metaphor taps into early bleep and warehouse house with late-’90s tech house swing. Metaphor (Bonus Beats) rounds things off as a pure DJ tool.

Label head Garrett David returns to Global Swing with Come Closer. Following Gary’s Dreamland, Garrett continues to refine a sound that is distinctly his own. The EP includes a first-time collaboration with Shanny Wise of Fcukers and carries the same attention to detail that has defined his output for years, pushing his catalogue forward while staying true to its underground sensibility.
